Indigenous Grants

Australia is part of one of the oldest living cultures. At The Grants Hub, we acknowledge the traditional lands on which our team work, stretching from Gubbi Gubbi and Jagera to Bundjalung, Woiwurrung and Boon Wurrung country, with many other traditional lands. If you’re unfamiliar with the traditional custodians where you live or work, you can learn more at the AIATSIS website.

There are many grants available for Indigenous communities in Australia, provided by both government and non-government organisations. These grants are designed to support Indigenous people in a range of areas including education, health, culture, and economic development.

One example is the Indigenous Advancement Strategy (IAS) which is a funding program administered by the Australian government. The IAS provides funding to Indigenous organisations and groups to support the delivery of services and activities that improve the social and economic circumstances of Indigenous Australians. The funding can be used for a wide range of activities including health, education, housing, and economic development.

Below we’ve listed a number of grants currently available for Aboriginal and Indigenous peoples and communities. There are currently over 700 Indigenous Grants listed in our Grants Directory (including both open and closed rounds).
