COVID-19 Grant Changes: The Statistics

COVID-19 is impacting grant seekers and funders alike. We’re seeing a lot of changes to grants and working around the clock to ensure we share them as soon as they’re announced.

Below is an overview of what’s happened to grants in Australia since 25 March 2020. As you’ll see, there is some good news. There are new grants available now to help organisations cope at this difficult time.

We do, however, recommend that if you’ve created a calendar for your grant program, that you check if funders have made changes to their giving or grant rounds. We are seeing a lot of changes to application deadlines, plus some grant round cancellations.

We are sharing COVID-19 related grants changes on our Slack Community. We’d love you to join.

If you’re a member of The Grants Hub: Log in and simply click on the COVID-19 Grants button for the latest news on grant changes. You can search, filter, save and track any of these grants.

To search now for grants, sign up if you’re not a member. You can see our pricing before joining and we offer a two-week free trial.

Want to know more about how grant seekers and funders are responding to this unpredictable time and what they most need? Help us find out! If you are a grant seeker, please fill in our survey (we'll stop collecting responses Monday 27 April). If you are a grant provider, please help us get important insights and information to our members by completing our short grant providers’ survey.
